Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

Da Q: Hustle
Da pax: Sideshow, Ollie, Bullock, Tupac, Hedgehog, Pinewood, Mayor, Rubble, Mayer, Smalis, Hustle.
Core principles verbalized followed by a warmup jog and SSH, of course in cadence.
The pax were told to bring a cinder block (which we did end up using).
Da thang: in one section of the parking there are 34 yellow parking lines. In a pyramid fashion, on line 1, we did 1 squat thruster; line 2 was 1 cinder-swing; line 3 was 2 squat thrusters; line 4 was 2 cinder swings, etc. until we finished with 10 and 10 of each. We did 25 toe-taps on the block (2 is 1). Leaving the block, we went back toward the start, but at each parking line, we did a burpee (so 20 total), then returned back to the block. We performed the same thruster and cinder swing, starting from 7, down to 1, followed by 50 toe taps on the block (83 of each total).
Once all finished this, we did cinder curls, starting at line 1 for 1 rep; line 2 was 2 reps; etc. until line 14 was approached for 14 curls (105 total arm curls!). 25 toe taps followed and again with the burpees to the end, but doing a broad jump between each parking line (20 total burpees again).
2 frisbees were used as markers for this and we circled up. We had to throw across to another pax member without making him move. If it came right to him, then no burpee/squat jump; within arms reach was 2; if he had to take any steps to try and catch, we did 4 burpees or squat jumps.
Lastly, played ‘Hustle says’ using the block. We started in high plank position, and as I said ‘over’, we put 1 hand on the block, and ‘down’ was a Merkin. We continued to move laterally and over the block, then back to start position. We did this back and forth until our shoulders said ‘F off’.
COR, NOR. The ‘6’ was Hedgehog. He reminded us that there is much outreach amongst F3 Toledo, after having to quarantine this past March. His push is always commendable.
An honor and privilege to lead. Look forward to it again soon. Aye!
