Da Q: Hustle, and his last day as Site Q for Ant Hill.
Da pax: Pinewood, Tupac, Rubble, Mole, Irish Springs, Thong Song, Mailman, Scrooge, Sideshow, Hustle.
Warmed up with SSH, in cadence, and then Squamperial Walkers, in cadence.
Did a warm-up lap around the school explaining the beatdown, utilizing the front of the school and the sides of the school, in the parking spaces:
Bus parking spaces in the front: burpee broad jump in the first space from the curb to the end, mosey back to the curb in the 2nd space, frog-hopped in the 3rd to the end of the space, moseyed back in the 4th, etc. all the way to the last space.
The north side of the school spaces: 3 lateral Merkins to the right in the first space; skip a space; 5 Imperial Walkers (2 is 1); skip a space; 3 lateral Merkins to the left; skip a space, etc. until the end.
Jogged from this point to the opposite, south side, of the school: first parking space did 10 air-squats; skip a space; 10 (2 is 1) mountain climbers; skip a space, etc. all the way to the front of the school and repeato.
COR, NOR, announcements, and prayer intentions followed.
‘The 6’ was Irish Springs, intentionally done so, as the torch was passed to him from to take over as site Q at Ant Hill. We all know he’ll do a great job. He is motivated and well-established in F3, even though he’s in his 20s. I look forward to him keeping Ant Hill going and strong. I will miss being site Q, as I have had this role since its launch back 3 years ago. The numbers declined over the years, no thanks to Brita and Pride Rock, lol, but it always had ‘the regulars’.
