It’s always warm and sunny at the Beach! Come out for a boot camp style beatdown.
Park on the west side of the lake at the first shelter.

LEISURELY STROLL
PAX: Hedgehog (6), Sideshow, Tupac, Jeter, Sipe, Mick, Pixar, Pinewood (Q)
Started at 0800 with the 5 core principles and credo. Todays beatdown was promptly blamed on Pinewood’s daughter as it was her miserable idea.
THE THING:
1. Took the inside paved path north to the parking lot at the top of the lake stopping at each bench (on the right) and doing burpees. First bench was 5 and each following bench we added 1 more. There were 7 benches and 68 solid burpees. Those who finished first picked up the six.
2. PAX now turned around heading back the way we came but this time we stopped at every other tree and did 5 squats. Hedgehog and Mick found a few trees that were worth a solid 10 or 15 squats so we modified as we went.
3. Once we arrived back at the parking lot we circled up to work on our abs. After all it is important to have a solid core when you are at the Beach. We did 25 reps of each the following ab exercises which were borrowed from a P90x routine: Ab Ripper x
In and Outs, Forward Bicycles, Reverse Bicycles, Cross/ Wide Leg Sit-Ups, V-Ups, Heels to the Heaven, Pulse-Ups, Side Crunch (left), Side Crunch (right), Hip Rockin’ Raise, ended with 60 American Hammers.
4. Single file line to do… ummm well I forgot what they are called so I had to explain it which apparently the exercise is called an “Indian Run.” PAX agreed Pinewood either had a stroke or is an idiot. So we did an Indian run back to the northern parking lot and simply moseyed back.
5. We ended with down on 3 up on 1 merkins, in cadence to 10.
Circled back up for count-o-rama and a name-o-rama. Hedgehog was the 6 – stating he’s never really been religious but this group is really opening him up to it. Additionally he is really proud of what his son is doing in Dayton by forming his own F3 group for working out. Mick attested to how much of a HIM Hedgehog is in the community with never hearing any bad things with those who know him.
Announcements were only regarding the Ruck on 3/20. No prayer intentions so the Q led us out in prayer.
