Chappelle’s B-Day Run
PAX (17): Pinewood, Sipe, Dory, Trinity, Splinter, Ollie, Pixar, Mailman, Scrooge, Gap, Ticket, Oh Geez, Rubble, Mayor, Mulcahy, Klinger, Trojan (Q)
Thang: 4-5 Mile run following the traditional route from Stranahan, south on Holland-Sylvania, L onto the University Parks Trail, L into Wildwood, past the Manor House and down to the covered bridge. Some Pax turned around there while others either added .25 with a Ward Pavilion parking lot loop or added .50 by running all the way to Cory Rd before heading back for the COT.
COT: Ticket was the 6 and shared that he has surpassed his own expectations of himself by being less than 2 months away from running his 1st marathon. Prayer intentions for Pixar’s daughter healing from a car accident, Splinter’s uncle who has had a very difficult past couple of years with some personal tragedies, a colleague of Splinter’s dad who recently passed away, all those impacted by the situation in Afghanistan, and a request for spreading the positive mindset shared by this group to others.
