Bootcamp style workout that uses the track, plenty of open grass, and a large parking lot. Meet at the basketball courts!


Q: Riggins

Workout:
We partnered up (Teams of 2) and performed 2 exercises as a super set and then carried a block from one side of the bleachers to the other. One side of the bleachers were back exercises and the other side of the bleachers were leg exercises. We split into two groups and performed each superset and then walked around the bleachers with our block in a circular motion around the bleachers. We completed 8 exercises for a for a total rep count of 40 for each exercise by the end of the workout.
The exercises included:
Super Set: Goblet Squats and Calf Raises for 4 rounds and then moved to Straight leg dead lift and reverse lunges for 4 additional rounds for the leg portion of the workout
Super Set: Lat Pull downs (Wrapped resistance bands around the top of the bleachers) and one armed rows with the block for 4 rounds and then moved to bent over row (with a block) and block swings for the next 4 rounds.
Each super set consisted of 10 reps for each exercise so the total for each of the 8 exercises at the end of the workout totaled 40 reps.
The challenge was explaining this to the PAX on a dark, cold, rainy morning but after a few rounds the group understood and completed the workout to perfection!
The Q definitely needs to simplify if he wishes to try this workout again. There was no music due to the rain so moral was at a all time low 🙂
Ended in a COT and the site Q transferred power from Poodle to Tucky
