Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.

    PAX: Sipe, Ollie, Johnny, Irish Springs, Tucky, 567, Beaker, Cogsworth, Pixar, Ozzie, Karesh, Mick, Mole, Trinity, Chum, Mini, Hampster, Klinger, Mayor, Bambi, Nails, Goose, Brute, Mater.

    Started at 5:30am on the dot. Went over the Mission of F3 and the 5 core principles. Weather was nice. Temps are increasing (slowly).

    Warmups: 20 SSH in cadence, 20 Windmills in cadence.

    The THANG:

    Set up 2 stations in the parking lot. 1 station near the guardrail at the top of the hill and one near the Wildcat at the bottom of the hill. 1 station was the upper body station and the other station was the core station. Each station had 2 sets of exercises.
    Upper Body:
    Set 1: 20 Coupon Curls, 20 Wide Merkins
    Set 2: 20 Coupon Shoulder Presses, 20 Diamond Merkins

    Core:
    Set 1: 20 Big Boys, 20 Flutter Kicks (2 is 1)
    Set 2: 20 floor Oblique Crunches, 20 Klinger Kicks

    2 Movement leg sections approx 60 ft before each station.
    Lunges into Core
    Broad Jumps into Upper Body

    ADDED BONUS! Every 5 minutes 10 burpees!

    All PAX stated at the upper body station, completed set 1…ran down the hill to a cone approx 60ft from the other station…they did lunges to the core station. Complete set 1 in core…run up the hill to a cone approx 60ft from the other station…they did broad jumps to the upper body station. Complete Set 2…move to core station, complete set 2….move to upper body station…repeato (set 1, set 2, etc…) until time is up….make sure when the EMOM timer went off every 5 minutes…10 burpees!

    The group started together at the top and thinned our pretty quickly but it was great to see everyone encouraging the others as they passed each other going up and down the hill.

    As the workout came to an end, there were 2 cars that tried to park in their “normal spots”, but due to the use of the blocks at the upper body station…we were in their way. Note is taken that next time, we need to do block work somewhere else to prevent getting in the way of those coming to the school in the morning.

    Wrapup:

    After 30 minutes of continuous movement, we finished with 10 burpees and circled up.

    In the COT, Pixar was the 6 and shared a wonderful story about his “God Moment” in which he had lost his keys…while distraught most of the day, he returned to the spot he last remembered having them and asked God to put his eyes on them…eventually finding them in the snow.

    This was my first Q at Faith Hill and it was an honor to lead them today!
