The Thang:
FARTLEKS – Did a 0.57 warm-up with jog around Stranahan and then jogged to the UT Trail. Once entire pax was together and at 0.6 miles we started Fartleks – 50 seconds hard run/sprint faster than race pace and then 50 seconds jog with jog back to the 6 to keep the pax together… .
We ended up with 19 fartleks and covered 5 miles in 40 minutes. All pax did great and pushed themselves with more than one saying that was some of their fastest paces/miles.
Mulcahey was the 6. YHC took us out with prayers to SkyQ.
Strong work by everyone – 71 degrees and humid made this one extra spicy.
