Morning ‘Wood
PAX (13): Colonel, Trinity, Ozzie, Mulcahy, Goose, Bambi, Klinger, Scrooge, Jeter, Dory, Sipe, Ticket, Trojan (Q)
Thang: 13 HIMs braved 30 degree temps to run the traditional HRT route into Wildwood via the U Parks Trail. All Pax completed between 4-5.5 miles. The Q challenged each man to do something “extra” such as tacking on an additional quarter mile or reaching a landmark they previously had never hit.
COT: Scrooge served as the six and talked about being committed to getting out and getting better whether you’re the fastest or not. Also spoke to the extra motivation and accountability of being part of F3. Prayers for Colonel’s M as she recovers from a tendon injury (and continues to tolerate Colonel in her life); for Mulcahy’s nephew Cory who has entered treatment for addictions to alcohol and opiates; for Red Ryder’s family and loved ones as they cope with losing him. May he find peace with God. Always an honor to lead!
