Affectionately coined Mount Doom since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Weight training workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 60 minute beatdown.




QIC: Colonel
Pax (11): Splinter, Tupac, Brita, Cobra Commander, Nails, Ham, Beaker, Thong Song, Koresh, Trojan, Colonel
Plan went to crap b/c of crazy rain but improvised. Had less than 10 on the HC list but ended up with 11 posting.
Superman Superset was the beatdown and went as follows kinda sorta.
Slam Ball – 25 lbs
Renegade Row – 20 lbs
Slant Board Squat with 35 lb KB
KBell Jump Squat – 20 lb
Cinder Deadlift
Wall Sit
Mike Tysons
40lb Triceps Press
10 lb Chest press front with two plates
Run the blacktop hill
Klinger kicks
Partner up (YHC, Ham and Splint made a 3-some) and do each exercise twice then rotate. B/c we had some spots that took longer and the 3 man group we added in some wall-sits and merkins when needed. YHC made decision to pivot and get out in the driving rain to bring in some of the stuff originally planned and get in some running.
At bottom of hill/wildcat we ran and did PT under the covering with the following items under cover:
Supermans IC x11
Mike Tysons IC x11
Squats IC x11
Jack Jacks (SSH w/Plank Jack) x11
Final one was Superman burpees (7 count burpee down to the ground, do superman, up and when you jump yell superman) x11
Sprinted down the hill and then all raced to top to circle up.
Finished with pax in circle counting around for 60 seconds – one arm planks changing up arms every 10 seconds flying ala superman.
11 Jack Jacks to end it.
Admittedly disheveled beatdown but ended up being okay with the runs and PT under cover pivot. Honor to lead.
