Affectionately coined Faith Hill since it is one of the few hills in Toledo area. Bootcamp style workout that typically takes advantage of the hill during the 45 minute beatdown.

Thang: YHC and The Colonel partnered up for this anniversary day beatdown. Year #3 here we come!
After some discussion, Colonel got things started by asking PAX to call out the core principles, and they complied with authority. We then moseyed to the back parking lot of the school. Colonel explained that we’d be doing Waterfall Bear Crawl-Merkins-Crawl Bear-Squats! In layman’s terms, we bear crawled about 15 yds and then did 10 merkins. Then crawl bear back to the start point and do 10 squats. This sequence was on repeato counting down from 10: next set was 9 merkins/squats, then 8 and so on all the way to 1 of each. After that, PAX were split into 2 teams and we stood in a column. First man in line did 10 burpees and 10 Imperial Walkers and then did plank jacks. When he was done with his burpees, next man in line started his burpees. This continued until each man had completed his sets. It was a race to see which team could get done first. Colonel’s team won (shocking!), but they had one less man – great job!! At this point, the Q shifted too YHC.

5 cones had already been placed 25 yards apart from each other. Starting at the first cone, PAX ran to 2nd cone and did 6 burpees, then ran to 3rd cone and did 6 burpees, then ran to 4th cone and did 6 burpees, then ran to 5th cone and turned around and stopped at each cone again doing 6 burpees at each. So, that’s stops at 6 cones doing 6 reps of the exercise at each cone. We repeated this a total of 6 times, switching out the exercise each rotation. The other 5 exercises were: squats, merkins, Bonnie Blairs, SSH, and mountain climbers. Suffice it to say that the Beast was overcome. We then moseyed back to the front of the school and circled up.

    Moleskin:
-It was wet and raining and we were all soaked
-Being soaked didn’t stop anyone from pushing hard
-Mickey said Rubble looks like a younger version of Brita. Turns out they’re the same age. Not good for Brita…
    -Rubble is a beast
-Smails killed it and was blind most of the time. Glasses were fogging up. Was told to talk to Extra, Extra about it.
-Mole called the first ever Time Out at a F3 Toledo beatdown. Didn’t know we had that power.
-Mickey posted despite his fear of ruining his Vegas Prep by getting sick from being out in the rain. Fortunately, no bacteria were found in the rain drops at Faith Hill.
-YHC forgot to pick up the cones at the back of the school on the way out…
-YHC offered to get coffee for anyone at Speedway. Wasn’t a big hit. Colonel said “heck yeah” but he didn’t show…

Always an honor to be out in the gloom with the men of F3 Toledo!!
