Warmup: 40 yard jog x2; 40 yd backward jog x2; 15 SSHs; 10 windmills
Thang: Object of this beatdown was non-stop movement. Pax jogged between two lines of cones set 40 yds apart. Intermittently, the Q would call out sets of PT to be completed before resuming a jog. Q would also randomly shout to sprint, which meant a sprint from line to line before resuming a jog.
Example:
Jog for 30 seconds…10 merkins and 10 diamonds…resume jog…sprint line to line…resume jog…10 squats, begin walking lunge for 30 seconds…sprint…resume jog
PAX covered approximately 2-3 miles in 25 minutes of continuous back and forth.
Following this, PAX completed 7s with Mike Tysons on one line and windshield wipers (2 is 1) on the other.
As a final bit of pain, PAX completed the following sequence:
10 squats, 40 yd walking lunge, 10 monkey humpers, 40 yd walking lunge
20 big boy situps, 40 yd bear crawl, 10 crunchy frog, 40 yd bear crawl
10 diamond merkins, 40 yd sprint, 10 wide merkins, 40 yd sprint
COT: Goose was the 6 and spoke about making a new job transition, crediting confidence to make this leap to the support he receives from his F3 brothers. Trojan spoke about the importance of continuing to post as the weather begins to turn, and Belding followed this with an analogy of hot coals who need to be together to keep that heat. Together, they light a fire, but they die out if spread apart. Prayers for all in the COT, all trick-or-treaters this weekend, and Jim Harbaugh (thanks, Oz). Always an honor to lead!
