I thought I had done this route a few months ago but made one critical mistake. We headed west along the path up to Bancroft instead of east to Bancroft. The intention was to then head up to campus, which we did. However, heading west on the path added additional time and the Q (me) made a rookie mistake of not checking his watch until it was apparent we were going to be late. We ended up taking Douglas back to Kenwood instead of the intended Ottawa path. We got back about six minutes late with minimal bitching (much appreciated) from the PAX. Total distance covered was 4.2 miles according to my very unreliable Apple Watch.
