Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc.  Then proceed to the track and/or field for running mixed with strength training.  Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.

    Today was the last round of The Open Championship so we had two separate 9 hole beatdowns.

    Front 9 – Putt-putt style with croquet mallets.
    split the group of 18 into 6 separate 3-man teams. Each team used a croquet mallet and croquet ball to “putt” from the tee box to the hole. The number of strokes was the number of reps x 5. The exercise was listed on each hole. So if it took your team 3 strokes to finish a hole, you have 15 of whatever the hole said. Exercises included – narrow merkins, american hammers, lunges, slo-mo merkins, speed skaters, etc. Shotgun start so everyone started on a different hole.

    Back 9 – frisbeeish golf
    set-up a longer course in the parking lot. Each team had to use the three clubs – wrong handed frisbee throw, racquet and kids ball hit and spikey ball roll. Team had to use each “club” once before repeating. Kept “hitting” until they finished the hole.
    Team 1 from the first nine played the first hole. Team 2 called out the exercise. Number of strokes x 5 was the number of reps. We ended up doing burpees, mike tysons, LBC, etc. We stayed together so everyone did the same exercises.
