Boot camp style workout.
Typical routine: warm-up with Merkins, stretching, side-straddle-hops, etc. Then proceed to the playground equipment and/or field for running mixed with strength training. Finish off with the C.O.P (circle of pain) for merkins, planks, ab work, supermans, etc.
SATURDAYS always followed up with 2nd F (fellowship) at Executive Diner on Sylvania.



The Harrowing of Hell

After going over the mission of F3 and the 5 core principles, the PAX got to work.
In the COT, prayers were lifted up for Easter weekend baptisms and those dealing with sickness.

THE THANG: The Harrowing of Hell refers to the Saturday of Easter weekend when the Christian church celebrates Jesus’ descent to Hades to release the faithful to begin their eternity with him.

The workout had 3 stations where each evolution had fewer reps, but a harder exercise. Each man would complete the first line of exercises before moseying to the next station. Once back to the first station, he started with the second line of exercises, etc. Once the round of 10 exercises at each station is complete, he went back up the list to the 20 reps, then 30, etc. until time was called.
Station 1:
● 50 Plank Jacks (1:1)
● 40 Donkey Kicks
● 30 Diamond Merkins
● 20 Hand-Release Merkins
● 10 Burpees
Station 2:
● 50 Squats
● 40 Lunges (1:1)
● 30 Squat Jumps
● 20 Lt Dans
● 10 Lt Dangers (Lt Dan, replace squat with burpee)
Station 3:
● 50 LBCs
● 40 Flutter Kicks (2:1)
● 30 American Hammers (2:1)
● 20 Big Boys
● 10 Captain Thors (Big Boy + 4 Am Hammer)
