“Track Workout”
This was a simple workout in concept. The idea was to use the track and have four stations around the track – a merkins station, a legs station, a core station, and a burpees station. Each time around the track we did one round of exercises at each station then ran to the next. The ask was to run hard on the straightaways and to mosey around the curved ends of the track.
Station 1 – Merkins.
Round 1, 20 Walking Merkins
Round 2, 25 Hand Release Merkins
Round 3, 20 Diamond Merkins
Round 4, 30 Standard Merkins
Station 2 – Legs
Round 1, 15 LT Dans
Round 2, 30 Lunges
Round 3, 25 Spiderman Squats
Round 4, 30 Squats
Stations 3 – Core
Round 1 – Plank (30 reps of Knee to Elbow, slow)
Round 2 – 30 Leg Raises
Round 3 – 50 Flutter Kicks
Round 4 – 30 Big Boy Sit Ups
Station 4 – 10 Burpees
NOR – We had two from down range – Merman ( SoCal) and Paul Revere (Denver). Toledo Regulars were as follows: Gas Man, Hedgehog, Mulcahey, Cratchit, Poodle, Pixar, Brute, Mailman, Pinewood, Scrooge, Tupac, Scuba Steve, Tucky, Bullock, Johnny and Mole as Q.
COT – Pixar was the 6 and he spoke about how he draws strength and inspiration from other guys within F3. The only prayer request was that we would be grateful for all of the positives in our lives. We also prayed for our military and first responders and that we would lead well and be a positive influence wherever we may go.
It is always an honor and a privilege to lead.
